I hope this blog shows my writing has evolved from its beginnings: derivative fantasy novels feverishly pencilled into 5-subject notebooks under my schooldesk at age 9.
I use welding, metalforming, casting and anodizing to make lighting, furniture, jewelry and sculpture out of industrial metals. I’ve made most of my gear, sometimes from plans: from the waste-oil powered furnace to the hydroponic sprouter that raises little lentils, broccoli, buckwheat etc.
To purge the resulting Hephaestian grottiness, I attempt gentleman subsistence farming, but every year swear to surrender because The Farmer’s Almanac is a thing of the past unless you’ve got the Monsanto edition.
